La Pietra Rara was obtained from the restoration of an antique mill from the 1800s.
The restoration took place by recovering all the stones, one by one, of the walls that had collapsed, it was like a huge puzzle whose pieces became increasingly "rare" to find and place in their place.
La Pietra Rara is located in the heart of Umbria between the city of Umbertide and the small town of Montone, it offers its guests a rainbow of sensations, flora and fauna typical of Umbria and although surrounded by greenery it is only 5km from the SSE45 which allows you to quickly reach the most important historical centers of central Italy: Gubbio, Assisi, Perugia, Città di Castello, Corciano, etc.
